Spectrum's MHSS in the West
A specialist multilingual service for frail aged and people with a disability. Spectrum’s Multicultural Home Support Service (MHSS) provides in-home and community-based support to elderlypeople and people with a disability, specifically catering to those from a migrant or a refugee background. MHSS can alsoprovide short-term assistance to people returning home from an acute care setting.
What we offer• A pool of over 200 trained bilingual and bicultural home support workers fluent in more than 45languages;• Workers trained in Certificate III in Aged Care/Home and Community Care/Certificate IV in DisabilityWork;• Matching of workers to the person’s cultural, linguistic and religious preference;• Workers allocated within 24 hours;• Service available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week;• 95% retention rate of staff, allowing for an ongoing relationship between worker and client.
