Facts & Stats
Spectrum’s research page has been designed to help people find information on the lives and experiences of migrants and refugees in our community. Our research is primarily focused on new Australians living in the Northern and Western regions of Melbourne, but we also try to include data on migrant experiences state-wide and nationally.
Available to the public are our Stats to Impress. These are short snips of information on any number of topics affecting migrants and refugees: employment, education, aging, settlement, women, youth and more! Each “stat” is linked to a longer report, or news article, so interested people can follow up and find out about the whole story.
Our Stats to Impress are tweeted each week! – so follow the link here to sign up and make sure you don’t miss even a week of cutting-edge information!
Spectrum also provides research to key partnerships of agencies operating in the North-East of Melbourne, through the North Eastern Settlement Issues Network (NERSIN) and through a variety of other agencies operating in the North, North-East, and Western regions of Melbourne. If you have something to share, please contact the Research Officer.
Spectrum Research will be further developing this page as a resource for other agencies and individuals. In the coming months, there will be a section for links to other services, posting of key reports and articles relevant to our clients, and uploaded material from our in-house research.
