Generally hours will be worked Monday - Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm, however flexibility is required, including attendance at monthly Board Meetings and SMRC events. |
| About the Role |
Spectrum Migrant Resource Centre (SMRC) has 25 years experience working with migrants and refugees to successfully settle and participate in all aspects of community life. Our Preston Office requires a highly organized, capable administrator who is flexible and able to respond quickly to changing circumstances and priorities. In addition to being highly skilled in the administrative area, you’ll need highly developed relationship and influencing skills and be able to work in a collaborative way with staff across the organization. This position coordinates a small team of customer service / administrative staff to deliver high quality support and service to internal and external customers. The role also provides executive support and assistance to the CEO and Board, ensuring the smooth functioning of the organisation. The successful candidate will ideally have relevant tertiary qualifications together with extensive administrative experience, staff supervision, proven initiative and a working knowledge of the community sector.
