About the Role

The key purpose of this position is to provide a leadership role in the planning and delivery of aged & disability services to migrant elders and their families. This includes providing effective service models requiring intensive support to remain at home as well as facilitating innovative community development programs and innovative partnerships in ethnic aged & disability service delivery. This is a short term position.

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a Human Services discipline(s) and considerable experience in a senior/management role in the aged / disability field is essential. Post-graduate qualifications in management / business administration would be well regarded.
  • Extensive demonstrated experience in human services contract management, service co-ordination and service design and development with particular understanding in the design and delivery of CALD disability and aged services programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including skills in addressing groups and public speaking and preparation of written documents such as reports, proposals, tenders and government submissions.
  • Highly collaborative approach, partnering skills and the ability to gain support and cooperation from others.
  • Proven ability to develop and lead high performance teams and in the management of a culturally diverse workforce;
  • Strong skills in promoting and supporting marketing strategies in the promotion of SMRC Multicultural Home Care enterprises.
