About the Role

Our award winning MHSS is looking for a new team member for their busy team to undertake rostering, data entry and support for clients and workers. This role has lots and lots of people contact, with the phone often running hot with workers, clients and case managers. You'll need to be able to work under pressure and to show empathy and understanding to older migrants and their families.

If you're great with computers, are highly organised and enjoy interacting with people, this could be a fantastic new role for you.

Requirements
  • A strong customer service approach together with well developed interpersonal skills
  • Relevant experience in a similar environment (HACC administration, staffing rosters)
  • Proficient use of computer systems with fast and accurate data entry
  • Demonstrated competence in planning and priority setting, including the ability to meet accountability and reporting requirements and deadlines
  • Ability to negotiate with a range of people and to resolve conflict effectively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the needs of people from migrant and refugee backgrounds
  • Demonstrated understanding of the needs of people who are ageing and the needs of their carers
