The SkillFill Case Worker is responsible for developing close working relationships with the job seeker and supporting their pathway into employment. This will include reverse marketing the job seekers to suitable employers.

The position reports directly to the Manager, SkillFill.

Essential

• Demonstrated high performance in case managing job seekers into employment, preferably people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds (CALD).
• An ability to assess the skills, experience and barriers to employment of CALD job seekers.
• Demonstrated ability to promote job seekers and source relevant vacancies that fit job seeker profiles.
• Well developed oral and written communication skills, including computer literacy.
• A flexible, positive, can-do approach to work and job seekers that enables innovative job seeker focused solutions.
• Ability to succeed in a performance oriented team culture against monthly KPIs.

Other Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Possess a qualification in Employment Services or equivalent.
• Possess a working knowledge of the building and construction sector across the north western corridor of Melbourne.
• Ability to speak a relevant second language will be highly regarded.
• Possess a current driver’s licence.
