The SkillFill Coordinator is responsible for the project coordination, compliance, promotions and stakeholder relationships and resource management.

The position reports directly to the Manager, Education, Training and Employment, who is based at the Broadmeadows site.

Essential

• Demonstrated effective program coordination experience and the ability to manage a high performing team.
• Understanding of the vocational education and training (VET) and university systems, in particular Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and qualification recognition processes for both trades and professional levels.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background to gain employment, including delivering job readiness training to a range of levels from semi-skilled to professional.
• An understanding of key issues that are hindering people from CALD background to gain employment.
• Highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks and to change priorities as the need arises.
• Well developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to promote to and engage with a wide range of stakeholders, especially employers and industry associations.
• Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team.
• Proficient in MS Office and the ability to present information in varying formats.
• A current driver’s licence and access to own vehicle during work hours.

Other Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Possess a tertiary qualification in education; social sciences or equivalent.
• Possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
