About the Role

Spectrum Migrant Resource Centre is a non-profit organisation with 25 years experience providing services and support to migrants and refugees.

As a specialist provider of services to culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, Spectrum identified the need for culturally tailored methods for training and assessment of CALD clients. Spectrum Education and Training (SET) was established in June 2007 as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in response to this identified need.

The key objective of this position is to engage with a range of employers to promote the value of, organise and monitor the quality of Spectrum’s cross cultural training workshops, as a fee-for-service activity. The Coordinator may also deliver the training where available.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who:

  • Possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated effective resource coordination experience of staff and other resources.
  • Performance driven and demonstrated output driven business approach.
  • Experience in delivering & developing high quality cross cultural training to a wide audience.
  • Well developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to promote to and engage with a wide range of stakeholders, especially employers and industry associations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and the ability to present information in varying formats, especially PowerPoint.
  • A current driver’s licence and access to own vehicle during work hours
