About the Role

Here’s a rare opportunity for a highly organized & strongly customer focused professional to join Coburg teams.

We have a vacancy for full time Customer Service / Administration Officer role to be the face of our employment and settlement teams based in Coburg. You'll be responsible for:

  • creating a warm, welcoming and professional environment for clients
  • undertaking the full range of reception and administrative duties for a small, but busy office environment
  • providing assistance to clients
  • ensuring the office runs smoothly – maintaining supplies, office presentation, security and maintenance
  • providing administrative support to the settlement and employment teams
  • assisting with the daily intake process

We're looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, highly developed administrative talents and who is flexible and can multi-task. Previous experience managing a busy office enviornment and working cross-culturally will be highly regarded.

Requirements
  • Outstanding and proactive customer service skills
  • Highly organised and able to multi-task and at times, work under pressure
  • Well developed oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with MS office applications
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to be flexible in responding to changing priorities and needs within the office
  • Skills in negotiating and managing conflict
  • Demonstrated positive values of integrity, accountability, reliability, working as part of a team consistent with the requirements of the contract and SMRC.
  • A current drivers license and access to own vehicle during work hours
  • Demonstrated positive values of integrity, accountability, reliability, working as part of a team consistent with the requirements of the contract and Spectrum.
  • Experience working with migrants and refugees would be well regarded
  • Ability to speak a relevant second language will be highly regarded
