| About the Role |
Spectrum Aged and Disability Services provides a range of supports for ageing people and people with disabilities from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, as well as their carers. Our programs and activities are designed to assist people to remain in their homes, to support carers and to promote healthy ageing via:
Programs include: Adult Day Care and Social Support groups, Multicultural Disabilility Respite , Assistance with Care and Housing for the Aged, National Respite for Carers Program, Multicultural Home Support Service, Multicultural Community Choir, Northern Federation of Senior Citizens Clubs, Supported Access Program and a variety of special projects. The role of the Disability Care Administrator is to work a part of a team managing the day to day administration and operation of the Respite for Older Carers of Adults with a Disability program, including liaison with families receiving services and workers providing services, as well as assisting in the expansion and promotion of the program.
