| About the Role |
Spectrum Migrant Resource Centre's award winning Aged & Disability Services provides in home, centre-based and social support services for people with a disability and older migrants and their families living in the northern and western regions of Melbourne. Spectrum has received funding from the Department of Human Services to undertake a scoping project that explores the extent to which refugee communities access disability support services. The project will involve undertaking some research, facilitation of focus groups with families and service providers and will ultimately report on ways that we can improve disability services to be more accessible and culturally responsive to refugee communities. We’re looking for an experienced project worker in the disability sector who will thrive on the opportunities that this project presents.
