Are you an experienced & qualified IT professional, looking to make you mark?

Spectrum is a medium-sized non-profit organization ($10m) that provides services and support to migrants and refugees in the areas of Settlement, Aged Care and Employment Services. We are looking for an additional IT Specialist to work with applications and systems across out 7 sites. You’ll enjoy great support from the Board and Senior Mgt to introduce positive IT improvements as well as the chance to be multi-skilled in all areas of IT Management.

You’ll need considerable IT experience together with demonstrated project management, and be interested in working at a systemic level, improving the systems and applications that help drive our organisation.

· Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Systems qualification (or have equivalent experience).

· Considerable experience (3+ years) managing or maintaining an IT environment, preferably in the service or community sector.

· A good working knowledge of core software packages (MS Office, Virus Protection, financial management systems, Adobe Acrobat etc.)

· Experience with contract negotiation and vendor liaison

· Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels within and external to the organisation.

· A collaborative approach and desire to work as a multi-skilled unit.

· Demonstrated ability to learn quickly on the job.

· A strong service orientation, where clients are provided with a professional and responsive service.

· A current driver’s license and access to own vehicle during work hours.

· Demonstrated positive values of integrity, accountability, reliability, working as part of a team consistent with the requirements of the contract and Spectrum.
