Spectrum Migrant Resource Centre is a non-profit organisation with 25 years experience providing services and support to migrants and refugees.

Our Aged & Disability Team deliver a range of community and in-home programs including home and personal care, respite services, planned activity groups and social support programs.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced program leader to manage our award winning respite program based in Preston. In 2008 the program won the Victorian Multicultural Award for Excellence in recognition of our unique service model that meets the specific needs of migrant elders and their families (including dementia).

The program has been established to support working carers to remain in the workplace, using a PAG model for migrant elders with language and cultural matching of workers. It operates 7 days per week from 8.30am to 5.00pm, including transport. We currently support four CALD groups (Macedonian, Chinese, Vietnamese and Italian) and the program includes cultural activities and authentic ehtnic food.
