Our PSP team works intensively with clients who are experiencing personal problems that make it difficult for them to find work or undertake study. Our PSP model makes it a perfect training ground for graduate psychologists who are looking for diverse experience working across all areas including mental health, drug and alcohol, relationship problems, domestic violence, gambling, abuse and homelessness. All work counts towards placements hours and we provide paid fortnightly supervision. You’ll also get experience with government administrative requirements.

· Preference will be given to recruiting personnel with Probationary Psychology registration or Psychology Graduates and/or those with extensive experience in case management of complex clients.

· Demonstrated capacity in working with a large caseload of individuals with complex psychosocial needs/barriers.

· High level counselling skills and capacity to engage with clients with chronic psychosocial issues and disorders.

· Strong capacity to design client interventions that improve the functioning and daily living of the client.

· Excellent ability to work effectively with a range of health and welfare referral agencies and demonstrated ability to identify appropriate resources and services for PSP clients including relevant psychological services and programs.

· Well developed report writing skills and ability to summarise case notes.

· Cross cultural competency and capacity to work with diverse clients.

· Ability to use MS Office proficiently and to quickly learn new software packages (ie: EA 3000)

· Driver’s licence & access to a car
