• Overall coordination of the Multicultural Home Support Service (MHSS)
• Marketing and promotion of the program to the broader community to increase business outcomes for MHSS
• Maintenance of positive relationships with local service providers
• Supervision of MHSS team
• Establish links with aged care service agencies and local councils through attendance at strategic network meetings to promote Spectrum’s presence in the western region
• To handle any complaints received either from or about MHSS, in accordance with program guidelines, in consultation with the Care Administrative Support Team Leader and, where required, the Aged & Disability Services Manager

Essential

• Demonstrated experience in aged and disability services
• Demonstrated experience in the coordination of programs
• Demonstrated experience in marketing and promotion
• Demonstrated experience in the development and review of policy and procedures
• Demonstrated experience in networking and establishing strategic partnerships
• Working knowledge of workforce recruitment and retention strategies
• Demonstrated ability to provide support and supervision to staff, including conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated competence in planning and priority setting, including the ability to meet accountability and reporting requirements and deadlines
• Experience in working closely with staff who do not have English as their first language
• Excellent communication skills
• A current drivers license and access to own vehicle during work hours
• Demonstrated positive values of integrity, accountability, reliability and working as part of a team.

Other Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Ability to speak a second language will be highly regarded
