About the Role
  • Delivery of a high quality and efficient Multicultural Home Support Service
  • Maintenance of positive relationships with local service providers
  • Handling day to day communications with key stakeholders, including staff, case managers, care recipients and carers
  • Ongoing promotion of the service to the broader community
  • Support and supervision to Multicultural Home Support Workers as required

Requirements

Essential

  • Demonstrated administrative experience in working with staffing rosters and experience in using computers (experience in using Gold care will be well regarded)
  • Demonstrated competence in planning and priority setting, including the ability to meet accountability and reporting requirements and deadlines
  • Ability to maintain and organize rostering requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of the needs of people from migrant and refugee backgrounds
  • Demonstrated understanding of the needs of people who are ageing and the needs of their carers
  • Demonstrated ability to provide support and supervision to staff, including conflict resolution skills

 Other Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • A current drivers license and access to fully maintained vehicle
  • Fluency in a second language
