Certificate II in General Education for Adults

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course prepares clients for further education and the work force, giving them skills and knowledge in English language and literacy

It is designed for people from English and non-English speaking backgrounds. The main focus of the course is on improving a student's skill in reading, writing, math’s and oral communication together with a strong emphasis on improving self confidence.

Graduates of the Certificates in General Education for Adults courses can look forward to further study and improved employment prospects.

There will be a compulsory Language Literacy & Numeracy assessment and introductory seminar prior to starting – all students must attend this session.

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)

Is a process where a student may be granted credit or partial credit towards a qualification in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training? Depending on your level of LLN you maybe be granted RPL for some of the units to be studied
