What is the Productivity Places Program?
The program is an Australian government initiative that provides new training places in skills and occupations that are needed and is designed to help you secure long term employment.
You can gain a new qualification or upgrade an existing qualification.

Can I get a training place?
To be eligible for a training place, you need to be currently looking for work. You also need to be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia and be over the age of 15. Some other eligibility criteria apply; this is available from Spectrum Education and Training Centre. Call us for further details.
Help in the class room
We will also provide you with literacy and numeracy training and additional class room support to help you learn, gain the confidence and knowledge to be successful. We will also help you to get a job.
PARENTS RETURNING TO WORK
The program provides support to parents to return to work after an absence caring for children. Grants of up to $1000 are available which can be used to cover any costs associated with approved training.
